Pioneered:  links of anomalistic psychological experiences with the temporal lobe of the brain;  classification of head injuries: classification of seizures and psychopathology; development of new IQ measure.

Psychopharmacological contributions include:
Recognized as one of two major pioneering contributions in the field of anticonvulsants in Psychiatry (1/89 Switzerland) (e.g. carbamazepine in non-responsive psychosis, explosive irritability, BZD withdrawal)
High dose buspirone as a successful treatment for tardive dyskinesia
Extended use of azapirones in aggression and attention deficit disorder

Forensic: Recognized as one of the leading Forensic Specialists in the USA (e.g.. only Forensic Psychiatry expert listed in some issues of Americas Top Doctors in the Western USA; used nationally and beyond).

New Concepts  include pioneering. dysproccia, possible temporal lobe symptoms, deinduction, dysproccia, chindling, paroxysmal neurobehavioral disorder, closed head injury of transient –CHIT (and permanent — CHIP) types, non-vertiginous dizziness (NVD).
